Sludge Bid 2025 Notice Notice is hereby given that the Mount Pocono Municipal Authority will receive sealed bids via the PennBid program (https://pennbid.procureware.com) until April 8, 2025, 4:00 PM EST for the removal of liquid sludge from the Mt. Pocono Sewage Treatment Facility located at 1478 Pocono Blvd. (Route 611), Mt. Pocono Borough, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The scope of work is removal/hauling liquid sludge. There will be requirements for bid bonds, performance bonds, a valid NPDES permit for disposal location, active pollution insurance, and a list of references. Complete bidding documents are available at no cost on the PennBid (https://pennbid.procureware.com). Bidder shall prepare the Sludge Hauling Bid for three (3) alternate costs, based on a six (6) month, one (1) year, and two (2) year contract period. The Authority reserves the right to select a six-month, one-year, or two-year contract period. The contract is to commence on June 1, 2025, for a term to be agreed upon by the Board of Directors. The successful bidder must furnish to the Authority contract performance security upon awarding of the bid. Bids will be publicly announced and read aloud at the 7:00 PM public meeting on April 11, 2025, in the Mt. Pocono Borough Building, 1361 Pocono Blvd., Mt. Pocono, PA 18344.
