LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Coolbaugh Township will consider the Petition of Orchard BJK Company, LLC and Pocono Mountains Industries, Inc. for Waiver and/or Modification Pursuant to Section 344-9 of the Coolbaugh Township Stormwater Management and Earth Disturbance Ordinance at a public hearing to be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Building, 5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania 18466. The above-referenced hearing is for the Board to consider the request of Orchard BJK Company, LLC and Pocono Mountains Industries, Inc. for a waiver and/or modification of the inner and outer buffers established by the Township's Stormwater Management and Earth Disturbance Ordinance along wetlands, vernal ponds, streams and/or watercourses on property that is the subject of a pending land development application for a warehousing facility as depicted on the Preliminary Land Development Plan for Pocono Mountains Corporate Center North Warehouse â Lot 2. The subject property is located generally at 566 Memorial Boulevard, more particularly identified as Monroe County Parcel No. 03.7.1.25-5, and is within the I-Industrial Zoning District. The Petitioner, Orchard BJK Company, LLC and Pocono Mountains Industries, Inc., has asked for a hearing under the Local Agency Law in accordance with 2 Pa. C.S.A. §§ 551-555. A copy of the Petition may be viewed at the Township Building at the above-referenced addressed during regular business hours. The public hearing on this Petition shall take place at the above-referenced time and place before the Board of Supervisors of Coolbaugh Township and all interested parties and the public are welcome to attend. The Board of Supervisors will consider testimony and evidence at the above-referenced February 20, 2025 public hearing and may take action on the same at that time.
