PUBLIC NOTICE BLASTING SCHEDULE Eureka Stone Quarry, Inc. 851 County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, intends to conduct blasting activities in compliance with all state and federal laws at its Saylorsburg Quarry, SMP #45970301 and 6576SM1 located at 300 Keiser Rd in Stroudsburg Township, Monroe County. Blasting activities will be conducted on property owned by Eureka Stone Quarry Inc. Blasting activities will be conducted Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Warning signs will be placed at every entrance to the operation. Fifteen minutes before a blast, all access roads will be barricaded. The barricades will not be removed until the All Clear” signal is sounded. Audible blast warning signals will be sounded as follows: Warning: At least one minute but no more than two minutes prior to detonation. A warning signal of three blasts, each lasting 5-10 seconds, will be sounded. All Clear: Following inspection of the blast area, a 10 second signal will be sounded. Adverse weather conditions, equipment breakdowns, illness, and unsafe conditions, may make it necessary in the interest of safety to conduct unscheduled blasts on occasion.
