Power restored after outage impacts over 900 in Monroe County

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Over hundreds of PPL customers were without power in Monroe County.

PPL reported the power outage was caused by a tripped breaker or blown fuse and crews are working to make repairs.

According to PPL, around 927 customers in the Stroudsburg area were impacted by the incident and that power has since been restored.
