SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News was able to get new information after a fire damaged the East Stroudsburg University Innovation Center Tuesday.
Officials for the school say they have plans to remove personal, office, and lab equipment, from the damaged building in Monroe County. They’re working to relocate university employees.
Fire crews say no one was injured and they’re still investigating the cause.
However, they believe an air handler unit on the roof malfunctioned, leaving fire and water damage.
