MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Monroe County officials on Tuesday said they identified about 30 irregular mail-in ballots.
Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso announced on Facebook the Monroe County Board of Elections identified about 30 irregular forms after a regular review of Voter Registration/Mail in Ballot Request forms were received in its office.
The irregular forms were segregated and the matter was referred to the Monroe County District Attorney for an investigation, Mancuso explained.
Several of the Voter Registration Applications and Mail in Ballot Request forms have been found to be fraudulent as they were not authorized by the persons named as applicants.

In one example, Mancuso says the named applicant had previously passed away and several of the fraudulent voter registration forms were traced to a specific person.
President Biden coming to Scranton SaturdayA company calling itself ”Field and Media Corps” a subsidiary of Fieldcorps, an Arizona based organization, working out of Lancaster County, in turn was responsible for submitting the forms in question to county officials.

Mancuso explained a broader investigation is still ongoing with reference to Fieldcorp's involvement and the Attorney General’s Office as well as others are involved in the investigation.
Mancuso says more information will be released in the coming days.
