At least three injured after crash, I-80 W shut down

TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Interstate 80 West is shut down at the I-380 interchange following a crash that injured at least three people Tuesday morning.

 

Officials say first responders were called to a reported tractor-trailer crash at mile marker 289 around 6:20 a.m.  

Dog attack concerns raised in Monroe County 

According to reports to the communication center, one person was partially ejected from a vehicle and two others were injured.

Interstate 80 West shut down starting at the Interstate 380 interchange

The Monroe County Communication Center says they have called for two air medical units to land on Interstate 80 West and transport those involved in the crash.

The interstate has been shut down as first responders work the scene. Officials urge drivers to avoid the area as agencies respond to the crash.
