Brookdale Road Police Response - Road ClosureDetails Map On August 15th, 2024, at approximately 1330 hours, The Pocono Township Police Department, along with the assistance of the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, and Pennsylvania State Police, responded to a domestic situation. This was an isolated incident, resulting in a family tragedy, and did not pose a danger to the general public or anyone outside of the immediate response area. Brookdale Road between Frantz Hill Road and Dyson Road was closed for approximately four hours but is now reopened.
The Pocono Township Police Department is grateful for the assistance provided by Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Pocono Township Fire Department / Fire Police, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
