Attempting to Identify Fleeing Dirt BikesDetails Map On July 4, 2024, the Pocono Township Police Department located three dirt bikes driving recklessly on Route 611. An Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop due to the vehicles all being unregistered. Instead of stopping, the three riders decided that it would be a better idea to drive at high rates of speed and do wheelies recklessly through residential areas while families were out enjoying the holiday. The acts of these riders is an ongoing hazard to the public as they continuously drive recklessly down the center lane of Route 611 and in residential areas.
The Pocono Township Police is seeking the public's assistance in identifying these three riders before they injure themselves or others. If you have any information regarding this individuals please contact Officer Bianchi at jbianchi@poconopd.org or leave an anonymous tip below!
