GILBERT, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A gathering of the highest quality this weekend. Hundreds flocked to the west end fairgrounds in Monroe County for the final day of the "Pocono Canna World Fair" cannabis festival.
More than 300 vendors filled the fairgrounds, each one selling the latest in industry trends.
The lively event included a variety of food trucks, live music, family-oriented activities, and campgrounds.
The main drive for the event focuses on health and wellness, including medical marijuana and alternative medicine like reiki, and spiritual healers.

"Well, Tyler has had seizures his whole life and we started him on medical marijuana and it's helped with a lot of different things. a lot of pain and a little bit with the seizures," Mudgett said.
Medical marijuana certifications and renewals were available at the fair all weekend.
