CHESTNUT HILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A home is a total loss after a fire broke out in Monroe County.
Crews were called to Red Pine Road, Chestnut Hill Township, just before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
West End Fire Company Chief Mike Manfre told 28/22 News two people lived in the home with multiple pets, but no one was injured.
Preparing for possible measles cases in NEPAThe chief also said that dry conditions caused a brush fire that endangered nearby buildings along with the house fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
