TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police say he assaulted employees at his former employment.
On June 23, around 3:00 p.m. the Pocono Township Police Department was called to the rear of Weis Plaza in Tannersville for a fight.
Two wanted for alleged retail theft at TargetThrough further investigation, police say ex-employee Anthony Felix, 38, from East Stroudsburg came to Weis to cause a disturbance.
During the fight, Felix threw glass at employees, damaged a car with a metal pipe causing significant damage, and threw rocks, as stated in the release.
Officers noted Felix was also intoxicated during the incident.
He has been charged with simple assault, mischief, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
