It would allow the removal of a person's firearms with no due process, the subject of such orders is typically informed of the action through the execution of a no-knock warrant at their home. Don't be fooled by supporters of this bill who refer to it as "extreme risk protection orders" - this legislation would bring RED FLAG LAWS to Pennsylvania. Red flag laws are easily abused by bad actors to deprive a person of their 2nd amendment rights, putting them in a position to prove that they are "worthy" of owning their firearms and often costing them a great deal of money.
