East Stroudsburg University’s director of financial aid, Leo Hertling, will participate in the FAFSA and Financial Aid Prep Panel and Workshop at the Eastern Monroe Public Library on Monday, April 15 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Hughes Library Community Room.
Hertling will be joined by Wendy Watkins, financial aid officer at Northampton Community College, and Michael Burke, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) Access Partner.
The workshop speakers will provide insight on the FAFSA application process, address common mistakes, and address questions from participants. They will also share information on other financial aid options, such as grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans.
Attendees are encouraged to pre-register and bring their own laptops. However, walk-ins are welcome, and a limited number of public computers will be available. To register call (570) 421-0800 ext. 317.
