East Stroudsburg Area School District to Receive $9.6 Million in Additional Funding

East Stroudsburg Area School District will receive an additional $1.2 million through the BEF Fair Funding Formula (a 9.2% increase), $610,062 in Special Education Funding (a 10% increase), $5,551,465 in Adequacy Funding Tax Equity (a 23% increase), and $994,999 in Hold Harmless relief. East Stroudsburg will also receive about $655,349 in cyber charter reimbursements, and $223,754 for school safety (mental and physical).

Overall, the East Stroudsburg Area School District will be receiving an additional $9.6 MILLION in education funding for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. (SOURCE)
