On Tuesday, Stroudsburg Boys and Girls Cross Country ran against Pocono Mountain East, Pocono Mountain West, Pleasant Valley, East Stroudsburg North, and East Stroudsburg South.
After a long 5k (3.1 miles) in 60-degree weather, Aiden Nieman, ’25, finished first for the boys, with Kaiden Hein, ’25, shortly behind him in sixth.
For the girls, Julia Grant, ’26, led the team finishing in second overall, closely followed by Carolyn Roberti, ’25, in third.
Nieman had a successful season, finishing it off with a time of 16.54 seconds.
Our girls’ team defeated all five competitors, and the boys lost only to North.
Next up for both teams is the EPC Championships at DeSales University next Tuesday, October 15.
