Coroner IDs man killed at bar in Middle Smithfield Twp.

MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP., Pa. - The Monroe County Coroner has identified a man killed at a bar last week.

The manner of death for Henry David Koroma, Jr., formerly of Scranton, was ruled a homicide, according to Monroe County Coroner Tom Yanac.

Yanac says he is not yet releasing the cause of death pending further investigation.

Police have said they have an active arrest warrant for homicide for Matthew Herberto Morales. Police said Morales is wanted following a shooting that happened at My Place Bar and Grill on Milford Road in Middle Smithfield Township-- near East Stroudsburg.

Morales has yet to be apprehended, authorities say.

Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso says Morales is a fugitive and is possibly armed and dangerous. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they're asked to call 911.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Friday.

"We feel this is an isolated incident, but still somebody who committed this type of act, we never really trust what they're capable of, so we don't want anybody to approach, and just call 911 and allow us to do our job," said Trooper Petroski.

"He's 30 years old. He's from the Monroe County area. If anybody knows his whereabouts, we're asking them to contact 911 immediately," said Trooper Petroski.

Police said the victim died at Lehigh Valley Pocono Medical Center.

In addition to homicide, Morales is charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, according to court documents.

Police have not yet identified a possible motive.

They said certain information surrounding this shooting will not be released at this time, so it does not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation.
