Stabbing/Homicide InvestigationDetails Map On Sunday 10/6/24 at approximately 4:20 P.M. the SARPD were dispatched to the 300 block of Main Street, in the Borough of Stroudsburg, for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, laying on the sidewalk suffering from multiple stabs wounds to his neck and upper body area. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Through investigation the following was learned:
The victim arrived at 337 Main Street to drop off his children to their mother. The brother of the children's mother, Justin Martinez, met the victim on the front porch and became involved in a physical altercation with him. Witnesses observed the physical altercation take place and also observed the two break through the banister of the porch and fall to the sidewalk. The victim was found on the ground covered in blood and a steak knife was found on the ground by the porch. Martinez did call 911 and stated that he stabbed a male and was in front of his residence waiting for police.
The Defendant, Justin Anthony Martinez, a 30 year old white male from Stroudsburg, was taken into custody. Martinez was later arrested and charged with Homicide.
The victim was pronounced deceased at 4:43pm . The victim was a 41 year old, white male, from Stroudsburg Pa. His identity will not be released pending notification of next of kin.

The victim was identified as Roberto Lozano III, a 41 year old white male from Stroudsburg.
