
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a disturbance at a local fast-food restaurant.
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 5:54 pm, officers responded to a report of a disorderly individual at McDonald's, located at 330 Main St. in Stroudsburg. According to the employee, a door dash driver, described as a black male with braided hair, entered the store while waiting for an order and became argumentative with staff. He then sat on the counter and, after a brief period, entered the service area behind the counter and stepped into the kitchen, yelling at the employee and demanding his order. The suspect pushed the employee before fleeing in a dark-colored Ford Taurus sedan with tinted windows and black steel rims.
SARPD is urging anyone with information about the suspect's identity are asked to "Submit a tip". Tipsters can remain anonymous or provide contact information for the investigating officer.
All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. These are merely accusations of a crime.
