Bus driver charged after allegedly endangering students

PIKE COUNTY, Pa. — A bus driver from Pike County turned herself in to police after allegedly endangering children.

Police say Kerry Sullivan was driving a school bus in Lehman Township back in April when she suddenly slammed on the brakes.

Nearly 40 children on the bus were thrown from the impact.

Two kids were taken to the hospital.

Sullivan is a bus driver for the East Stroudsburg School District.

She faces assault and harassment charges in Pike County.
