Boys’ Soccer dominates in season opener

On August 27, Stroudsburg defeated East Stroudsburg North, 9-1.

The team netted nine goals in the contest with seven of them coming in the second half of play.

Jacob Bajek, ’25, and Ben Pilcher, ’25 both had two goals in the game. Michael Padilla, ’25, Franco Ferro, ’25, Kacper Liszewski, ’25, Byulent Gegov, ’25, and Kai Schatzman, ’26, all put balls in the back of the net as well.

Scoring wasn’t the only thing the Mounties did yesterday. Ferro and Pilcher had two assists, while Aiden Coyne, ’25, Schatzman, Matias Dunia, ’26, and Hunter Fuller, ’27 all had one.

Stroudsburg goes for their second win on the season tomorrow at Nazareth High School at 6:30 p.m. They are back at home on Saturday against North Pocono High School at 11:00 a.m.
