ARRESTDetails MapOn December 15, 2024, at approximately 1849 hours, an officer from Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Cranberry Rd and Laurel Lake Rd for a report of a vehicle that had driven into the wooded area and struck a tree. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Richard Shupp, a 42-year-old male from Tannersville PA and observed signs of impairment. After further investigation the officer determined that Shupp was under the influence of alcohol. Charges for DUI and traffic infractions were filed on this case.
