On October 12, 2024 at 2151 hours, an Officer with the Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a gray Infiniti sedan for multiple vehicle code violations. Throughout the investigation, the driver, 49 year old Dion Mcrae of Mount Pocono, was placed under arrest on the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Mcrae was transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for processing. Mcrae is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
