Presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. ARRESTDetails MapOn February 4th, 2025 at approximately 12:22 P.M. An Officer of the Pocono Township Police Department was on patrol on Route 0611 in Scotrun. The Officer observed a vehicle with a taillight not functioning, as well as the vehicle driving slower than normal in that area. A traffic stop was conducted with the vehicle and a DUI investigation proceeded. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were performed by the driver, Zack McDonald, of East Stroudsburg. McDonald was then brought to the Monroe County DUI center for processing.
A toxicology report concluded that McDonald was under the influence of THC at the time of the stop. Charges for DUI were filed.
