On February 1, 2025 an Officer of the Pocono Township Police Department observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on the northbound side of Route 611 in Swiftwater. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and mad contact with the driver, Rifah Manasra, a 42 year old female from Victor, New York. Manasra displayed several clues of impairment and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Rifah was processed at the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
