On 7/4/2024 at 2:55 a.m. Stroud Area Regional Police conducted a traffic stop at 1229 West Main Street in Stroudsburg. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the front seat passenger identified at Maxmara O. Lockley was found to have 12 outstanding warrants. Lockley was taken into custody. The driver identified as Robert Parsons was unable to provide valid proof of insurance and did not have valid inspection. The vehicle was towed. An inventory search of the vehicle located a bottle labeled "Ambien" was found and Lockley admitted a friend gave it to her. Ambien is a prescription medication that Lockley was not authorized to possess, as it was prescribed to someone else. Lockley was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing.
