On March 22, 2025 at 0124 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to the Wawa in Tannersville for a report of a vehicle that was just stolen. Officers made contact with Jahfari Kamdar a 19-year-old male from East Stroudsburg in regards to the vehicle theft. Throughout investigation, it was learned that Kamdar stole the vehicle.

Kamdar is being charges with Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property.
