On December 13, 2024, The Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched for a reckless driver, traveling Southbound on Route 611 in Scotrun. After being provided with the vehicle description, an Officer located the vehicle on Route 611 and observed the vehicle to be swerving in and out of the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Sussi Hernandez, of East Stroudsburg, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Hernandez was placed under arrest and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
