On January 15th, 2025 Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department we're contacted in regard to theft of personal items. The victim advised that they loaned a vehicle from them the defendant in this matter, Denise Grant of Clayton North Carolina, and accidentally left some of their belongings inside. The victim stated that upon contacting Grant, she refused to return the items back to her without payment. Officers then contacted Grant and explained to her that she needed to return the items, as she was the one that took them. Grant still refused.
