On 1/27/2024 Stroud Area Regional Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic between the victim and her ex-boyfriend Michael J. Gaddy. Upon arrival of the officer Gaddy was leaving with his belongings. Later in the day, police were called back to the residence for a report of damage to the apartment and her vehicle. The victim reported that Gaddy would sometimes use her vehicle for work purposes and had cut the back of the front seats, cut the seat belt of the left rear passenger seat, broke the center console, damaged the wire harness leaving the vehicle disabled and there was garbage and laundry detergent in the vehicle. The estimated cost of repairing the damage was $3,931.71. Charges were filed and a summons was issued. Gaddy failed to appear for court and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
