On May 09, 2025, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Abeel Rd. and Abeel Cir. for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers observed a one vehicle accident with a vehicle that went off the roadway and came to a stop into multiple mailboxes. Through the investigation, it was found that the driver, 39 year old Mark Fury of East Stroudsburg, PA, was under the influence of alcohol. Fury was placed under arrest and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center. Charges to be filed.
