ARRESTDetails MapOn March 22, 2025 at 0124 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to the Wawa in Tannersville for a report of a vehicle that was just stolen. Officers made contact with Junior Davis a 19-year-old male from East Stroudsburg in regards to the vehicle theft. Throughout investigation, it was learned that Davis was involved in the theft of the vehicle. When Davis was to be placed in handcuffs he resisted arrest. A search of Davis yielded a firearm that did not belong to him, nor did he have a license to carry.
Davis was taken into custody and placed into the Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
