On 08/02/2024 at 9:38 am a simple assault occurred at 111 East Brown Street, East Stroudsburg. The victim reported that a male, later identified as Najee Cooper, punched his vehicle when he was pulling into a parking lot. The victim then pulled over. COOPER ran to the victim and punched him in the face causing minor injury. COOPER then fled the scene after the victim produced a legally concealed weapon. COOPER was located in the area of the Burger King. After further investigation and viewing security video, charges were filed against Cooper. A warrant was issued for COOPERS arrest due to him being homeless and unable to receive mail.
