On December 8th, 2024, at approximately 1812 hours, Stroud Area Regional Police Department (SARPD) Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Pasquin Drive in Penn Estates, reporting an active argument. A second call from a different number revealed a physical domestic incident involving a suspect and victim.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, Isiah Candies, physically assaulted the victim, punching her in the face, grabbing her by the neck, and bashing her head against the wall multiple times. The suspect fled the scene with the victim's phone in a 2009 black GMC Envoy (Denali) with an unknown New Jersey temporary tag, reportedly heading to a family member's house in Hillside, New Jersey.
