ARRESTDetails MapOn March 16, 2025 at 0635 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to SR 0611 and Golden Slipper Rd. for a report of a reckless driver. Officers arrived in the area and observed a vehicle to be driving in center left-turn only lane. Officers initiated a traffic stop and made contact with 26 year old Elina Acevedo of Tobyhanna, PA. Throughout investigation, Acevedo was found to be intoxicated and incapable of safe driving. Acevedo was arrested and taken to the Monroe County DUI Center. Charges have been filed.
