30th Annual Student Exhibition

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

We were thrilled to welcome 84 student artists from throughout the Pocono Mountains to our 30th Annual Student Exhibition!

On Sunday, February 17th we opened the doors on the exhibition as Winterfest in downtown Stroudsburg was wrapping up. From 3-6pm we spoke with tourists, artists, teachers, and loved ones who came to enjoy the multitude of works from K-12 students from our region. What a treat to see the gallery so full of excitement and pride.

As Henri Matisse said, “creativity takes courage.” Sharing your work with others – let alone the public – takes guts. We are always grateful that the youth of our area tell their fear to take a back seat and submit their work to our shows.

Students from every district, including our friends from private, charter, and homeschools are represented in the gallery. For those who had encouragement, we’d like to acknowledge the mentors, teachers, families, and friends who supported these young artists as well. Students navigating solo – we see you and appreciate the trust you extend to Pocono Arts. It is an honor to be part of your artistic story.

If you couldn’t join us in person – or if you’d like to see the show again, please enjoy the following virtual gallery. A program can be downloaded here →
