2024 Election Update

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

With the 2024 Election now a week behind us, there are still multiple races still yet to be called.

We will start in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where the senate race is still too close to call.

The incumbent and Democrat Bob Casey and his team have still not conceded the race as they believe they have a big push of votes incoming in the last couple to be counted. Currently, Casey trails Dave McCormick by 35,000 with about 114,000 votes still yet to be counted.

McCormick and his team have already claimed victory in this race even though most notable news outlets have still not called it.

Out of the 114,000 votes, more are expected to come from Philadelphia County, the area where Casey leads McCormick with over 78% of the vote. The Republicans have taken over control of the Senate but this race could heavily impact the future of the state of PA.

The United States House of Representatives is also still up for grabs at this hour.

Currently, the Republicans need 3 more seats to take control of the House, which could give President Elect Donald Trump a clean pathway to enacting all of his plans these next two years. The red party already flipped the Senate and has won the presidency. Republicans currently lead the uncalled races in Iowa District 1, Arizona District 6, California District 45, 41, and 22, and Alaska District 1.

The Democrats would need nothing short of a miracle at this point to have a chance at winning the House. With 13 seats uncalled for, the Democrats would need to win 12 of those seats to win the House. They currently lead in 6 uncalled races, which wouldn’t be enough to have control of the House.

In the state of Pennsylvania, the Democrats lost two key races with Susan Wild and Matt Cartwright both failing to retain their seats in the House.
