PUBLIC NOTICE Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County NOTICE IS HEREBY GIV-EN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Tunkhannock Township has scheduled a Public Hearing at the Tunk-hannock Township Municipal Building, 1557 Long Pond Road, Long Pond, Monroe County, Pennsylvania 18334 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. for the continuation of the application of Northeast Pennsylvania SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless for (i) a variance from Sec-tion 405 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction and operation of a wireless communications facility including associated equipment and appurtenances in the C-1 Neighborhood Com-mercial District; (ii) a variance from Section 815.6 of the Zoning Ordinance to al-low the placement of a tower within the required minimum setbacks; (iii) a variance from Section 815.6 of the Zoning Ordinance to al-low the placement of a tower within the required minimum setback from an occupied structure; (iv) a variance from Section 815.8 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the use of a diesel generator; and (v) a variance from Section 815.5 of the Zoning Ordinance requiring FAA obstruction lighting for towers in excess of 50 feet. The variances are requested for the property located at 1260 Toll Road, Effort, Pennsylvania, Property Identification Number 20632100744123. The property is located in the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District of the Township and is owned by Noah A. Doncses, Trustee Under the S. Doncses Asset Protection Trust dated Sep-tember 07, 2022.
