NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 13, 2025 beginning at 3:00 P.M., at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Hayward Business Park, LLC for conditional use approval to construct a 200,000 SF industrial storage facility/warehouse. The project is intended to be constructed in two phases, with a 100,000 SF building in each phase. Under Schedule 27-I of the Stroud Township Code of Ordinances, warehouses are permitted in the M-1 zoning district by conditional use.
The application relates to a 24.1 acre parcel of vacant property owned by 447 North LLC and located in the M-1 zoning district. The parcel is located at 1887 Paradise Trail in Stroud Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, and is described more particularly in the deed dated September 6, 2012 and recorded November 2, 2012 in the Monroe County Recorder's Office in Record Book 2410, page 5158. The parcel is further identified as Parcel ID No. 17.3.1.24 and Map No. 17-7302-03-42-9999.
Anyone may inspect the complete application (without charge) or obtain a copy of it (for a charge not exceeding actual copying costs) at the Township's office at the address listed above during regular business hours. The hearing is open to the public and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
