BOROUGH OF CHAMBERSBURG FRANKLIN COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA NOTICE OF ENACTMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a public meeting held on February 24, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Borough Building, 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania (the Borough), enacted an Ordinance (the Ordinance) authorizing the Borough to incur nonelectoral debt by the issuance of the Borough's General Obligation Bonds, Series of 2025, in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $12,000,000 (the Bonds), for the purpose of providing funds to be applied for and toward, among other things, the Project, as defined in the Ordinance. The purchase price of the Bonds, including underwriting discount and original issue discount or premium, was fixed at not less than 98% of the aggregate principal amount of Bonds to be issued (including original issue discount/premium and underwriting discount), and the maximum interest rate and maximum annual yield approved for the Bond is 5.50%. No amendments were made during final enactment of the Ordinance. The text of the Ordinance as finally enacted, may be examined or inspected by any citizen at the office of the Secretary of the Borough in the Borough Building, 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, on any regular business day between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. This Notice is given in accordance with requirements of and in compliance with §8003 of the Local Government Unit Debt Act, 53 Pa.
