PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mount Pocono Borough Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, beginning at 6:30 P.M. at the Mount Pocono Borough Municipal Building, 1361 Pocono Boulevard, Suite 100, Mount Pocono, PA 18344 to consider the request for Variance relief from the sign regulations outlined in the following sections of the Zoning Ordinance: 215-87B(2)(b), 215-88J(1), 215-35I, 215-86E, 215-87E, 215-86B, 215-87A, 215-86D, 215-86F, 215-86G, and 215-86H. This relief is requested to allow for the construction of a wall sign and an off-premises freestanding sign.
Commonwealth Charter Academy Charter School owns the properties where the wall sign is proposed, which has an address of 4 Fork Street. Terrapin Bus Station LLC owns the property where the freestanding sign is proposed, which is located on Pocono Boulevard. The subject properties are located in Mount Pocono Borough, Monroe County, in the Downtown Commercial (C-1) Zoning District and are further identified by Monroe County as Parcel ID No. 10.8.5.8, No. 10.8.5.7, and No. 10.8.5.3, and Map No. 10635512954700, No. 10635512955629 and No. 10635512957747, consecutively.
Copies of the application may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the actual cost of reproduction thereof at the Mount Pocono Borough Municipal Building between the hours of 8 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, prior to the date of the hearing. The public and all interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and to present all evidence in connection therewith.
