Public Hearing for Conditional Use Application of Usha Wadher with Raj Investments, LLC

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, PA, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Township building located at 147 Municipal Drive, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302. The purpose of the hearing is to consider testimony and evidence and receive public comment on the Conditional Use Application of Usha Wadher with Raj Investments, LLC for the property located at 206 Fantasy Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302, consisting of Monroe County PIN Nos. 09734301197735, 09733300981619, 09733400905639, 09733300893896, 09734400019373, 09734300084728 and 09733300788206. The Applicant, in accordance with the Township of Middle Smithfield Code of Ordinances, Chapter 200, Sections 061-010 and 084-020 and Attachment 3, Table of Use Regulations, filed a Conditional Use Application and is requesting conditional use approval for a Resort Complex/Commercial Resort on the above-referenced property and has submitted a master plan for such a use. The Application proposes to proceed with a master resort complex on the property, including but not limited to resort housing units, hotel and food service facilities, indoor and outdoor recreation and entertainment facilities, medical and spa facilities and places of worship, among other things. The Conditional Use Application in this case is on file and available for public inspection at the Middle Smithfield Township building at 147 Municipal Drive, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302. Copies of the application and supporting documentation are available at the Township building, 147 Municipal Drive East Stroudsburg PA, during normal business hours. The Board of Supervisors will consider testimony and evidence at the above-referenced December 19, 2024 public hearing and may take action on the above-referenced conditional use application at that time.
