NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that the Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold public hearings
on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 beginning at 5:00 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal Building,
112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. One of the hearings, which will be taken
in the order in which they were received by the Township, is to consider the application of
Michael E. Kelly for a dimensional variance from Section 470-19(C)(2)(a) of the Pocono Township
Zoning Ordinance, which requires a front yard depth of 50-feet for properties in the Recreation
District (RD). Applicant’s home was constructed 25 feet from the front lot line.
Michael E. Kelly is the owner of record of the subject property, which is located at 19
Summit Avenue, Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania 18349, in the RD zoning district of Pocono
Township. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 12.14.1.45 and Map No. 12-6354-02-
79-5096.
The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for
actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may
