Topic
In this insightful presentation, Farmer Gary will delve into the concept of local and regional food systems--food networks that prioritize local production and distribution. These systems aim to minimize the steps food takes from farm to table, thereby supporting local economies, reducing environmental impact, and providing fresher, healthier food options. Attendees will learn about the local and regional food systems, the benefits of supporting them, and the challenges these systems face. Join us for an evening of engaging discussion and discover how local food systems can benefit you and your community!

Gary, a native of the Poconos, was born on Main Street, Stroudsburg, and holds a BSLA in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and a Master's degree from Harvard University.
