Tobyhanna State Park is a 140-site campground open between April and mid-October. The state park offers many recreational activities like swimming, boating, horseshoes, a playground and fishing areas. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table, and pets are welcome. Hookups include 50-amp, 30-amp, dry camping, and partial hookups. The facilities are well-appointed with a dump station, recycling, showers, restrooms, trash area, and it’s all ADA accessible. One interesting bit of information is that visitors exploring remote and undeveloped areas of the park may come across unexploded artillery shells are asked to call the park office to report them when found.
