The Hauser Nature Center located in Long Pond is the Nature Conservancy’s Northeast Pennsylvania hub for visitors interested in exploring the Pocono plateau region.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Here visitors can get a great start to their journey in the Poconos by taking a walk along “Cathy’s Trail” which loops through a meadow and the forest, providing excellent opportunities to watch birds and other wildlife.
